Even though I'm happy I upgraded to a New 3DS, I also want to rant about it a bit!

It really annoys me how the only color options available in the US are black and red. And you can't even get the standard sized New 3DS's that aren't part of a super-expensive bundle. As someone who cares very much about aesthetic, I hate that Nintendo just assumes that there's no market for it in the US. They have some really, really cute New 3DS faceplates in Japan! I would much rather have one of those, but I can't, and it annoys me!

I ended up getting a black New 3DS XL with an imported Rilakkuma cover plate. It's nice, but it doesn't cover the system as much as I want, and you can still tell it's an ugly black one. I would've gotten red, but my cousin already has a red one, and I didn't want to get our systems confused. The cover plate I have is nice but... Uggghhh, I would've liked it so much better if they sold cute pastel ones here!!

I guess that's just America in general being anti-femininity... That's why we never get imports of shoujo anime anymore, all we ever get is shounen... America just hates cute stuff, and I hate that so much.

I know how you feel. I wanted the regular new 3DS as well. I want to dec out my stuff!

Oh! And another thing I want to rant about! I recently got the PMMM manga off of Amazon. (The main one, the adaptation of the anime. Not any of the spinoffs.) I knew when I bought the cheapest copies that there was a chance I might get a former library book -- I have quite a few former library books in my manga collection. But not only was my copy of volume 1 a library book, but it was water damaged, AND SOME PAGES WERE RIPPED OUT! Thankfully the pages were in the beginning, and I know what happens, but it's still so annoying!! I want to get a new copy!!

I just want to scream. This past weekend my mother finally convince my grandmother to come over Christmas Day. Before that she was going on about how it was too much for her and she didn't want to be a bother. And how we would be seeing her for two days in a row (she's coming Christmas Eve for our family party). Then today my grandmother changed her mind and continued with her excuses. My mom asked her don't you want to see Maria (my niece) and she said no.

My grandmother doesn't want to see her great granddaughter!? Most people her age would be proud to have a great grandchild! Also most people her age would kill to spend time with their family! But no! It's too much for her and she has to go to church. Then mom said she went on about how she only celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve because that's how it's done in Germany. Which is bullshit. Generally most people spend Christmas day with close family members regardless the culture. 

Whatever Grandma. Spend time alone on Christmas Day.

Amour shippers are awful, so many of them bully other pokemon fans.
