| This one was a pain at first. It's a ghost type, so False Swipe doesn't normally work. Had to bring Octillery, which knows Soak. Bust the disguise, soak it, switch to my catching Mawile and use False Swipe, then proceed to sift through the waves of SOS Mimikyu, each requiring two hits to take out thanks to the disguise ability. I thought to myself "There has to be something that can bypass Disguise.." And sure enough there is. Kyurem, Reshiram and White/Black Kyurem's ability, as well as the Mold Breaker ability and Solgaleo & Lunala's signature attacks, can all ignore the Disguise ability's substitute effect, letting you one-hit KO each Mimikyu. 15 minutes of binging Game Grumps Vs episodes later, this guy showed up. Not the biggest fan of Mimikyu, but something about the completely lifeless gray color scheme interests me. GB nostalgia probably. |

| I took Mimikyu to the Elite 4. He helped me win. <3 |

| I didn't use it on my team, but it was one of the more memorable Totem battles.
I had a Pikachu on my team, so when it came time to fight this thing, my "I'm a huge dork" mode activated and I had this playing the whole time.
It was actually one of the tougher Totem battles... more than I can say about the Wishiwashi one... Poor thing didn't stand a chance against a light ball powered Volt Tackle. |

| Actually I read a lot of people had trouble with Wishiwashi. I have no idea why? I took him down no problem.
Mimikyu was my hardest one. Took me three times to beat him. |

| Whoo! Three shinies in one week. This is another one that I wanted purely because of how nice the shiny variant is, otherwise I wouldn't even acknowledge the existence of this Pokemon. This one was an ORDEAL since its a ghost type with a moveset that's made to be a pain for SOS chaining. Sand attack to reduce accuracy, Mega Drain to regain health (Thus less calling for help) Bulldoze so that any help called will accidentally KO the caller, and finally Sand Tomb, which traps the target for several turns, chipping away large percentages of health. So a lv100 can lose over half its health from one Sand Tomb. I did not know that the Battle Royal also had a thing to trade BP in for. I was wondering why the Battle Tree's BP exchange didn't have stuff like the Power Lens and Leftovers. Had to buy an Ability Capsule to give my Noctowl Keen Eye. Thus Noctowl became immune to 3 out of 4 of Ol' Sandy's moves. But that Sand Tomb was still a pain whenever I had to switch My Soak user or False Swipe user in. Fortunately, Wild Goomy can be farmed for an item called the Shed Shell, which guarantees switching out regardless of trappings like Sand Tomb. Two or three attempts starting from 9am until 1pm later, Shiny GET! |

| Including another Alolan Vulpix (trying for Hidden Ability), a Grimer and a random Ledyba, that's eight shinies in one week. I think I'm ready to go on vacation. XD This one was especially annoying to get, as it rarely called for help. Must be cause it's a rare Pokemon. I don't care for this Pokemon, but I like this wildly contrasting shiny form. Very festive. |
