Any youtube people that you're particularly fond of? I know I have at least five, and they are...

5 ) Gigguk
With an accent that's pleasing to the ears, this guy reviews anime. He shares a lot of my views on anime such as Steins;Gate or K-On, but at least likes the former despite its many faults. The latter he softened up to and can respect it for what it does.

The main reason this guy's not higher on the list is he hasn't updated in five months.

4 ) The Mysterious Mr Enter.
A reviewer of western animation, this guys channel is home to three segments.

MLP Reviews: As I am no longer watching the show these don't interest me as much.

Admirable Animations: Exactly what it sounds like, he picks an episode of a TV show that he believes to show exactly why animation is an art form that should be respected, such as the Avatar episode "Tales of Ba Sing Se".

Animated Atrocities: The complete anti-thesis to the above, in which he tears awful episodes of shows a new one, with particular focus being on modern, post-movie Spongebob episodes, like the one where Spongebob gets a splinter stuck in his thumb and it gets infected and turns huge and spews pus everywhere

I tend to like the animated atrocities more, not just because he shares my views on how awful shows like Spongebob and Family Guy have become, but because he goes into greater detail about why these things fail as far as storytelling and character building goes. Only a couple of times have I seen one of his admirable animations go into detail about why its story conventions do a good job.

3 ) TheJwittz
This guy mostly focuses on Pokemon, but will post a new video to share the latest Nintendo News. If a new Smash Bros character is confirmed, this is where my tumblr-less self is gonna learn about it. He also does things like top ten lists of Pokemon related things. I was particularly fond of his top ten moments from the original Twitch Plays Pokemon, but for some reason that was removed from his youtube account. You can find it online elsewhere if you google it.

2 ) Game Grumps

I've already made an entire thread dedicated to them.

1 ) TeamFourStar

The creators of Dragonball Z Abridged. I've already made a thread about them, but since then they've gotten into the habit of making "Episode Breakdown" videos, where they talk about the lengths it took to make each episode. They even go so far as to correct animation errors that were already in the series. That's some dedication there.

My favorites are in no particular order are

Gundaminfo
Official source for Gundam anime. Currently they have Seed, Seed Destiny, 00 and Build Fighters
AWE me
Blacksmithing is really cool and he makes awesome weapons
Lindybeige
He brings a bit of archaeology and a lot of common sense to his videos on ancient weaponry
League of Super Critics
Nostalgia Critic has some scathing reviews, but he always backs up what he says with examples.      Nostalgia Chick also has some strong opinions
Tandy Leather
I try to work with leather for cosplay purposes and their videos are great for showing how to use      their tools

1. Knightwing01 and his LP Channel:
I love this guy! He's a Journalist who reviews old and new games and does LPs. Like for real he is a journalist. He's been around youtube for many years and was one the original gaming channels. Sadly he isn't as popular like the new guys. :(

What I love about him he's pretty honest in his reviews. He looks at the good things and the bad things. I love his LP channel because he's not screaming at the game or dropping the F bomb like a million times. This is coming from a gamer who does that, but I don't like seeing it in LPs. :P

Plus he plays games with his wife! They are so cute together and they will make you laugh.

2. The Completionist:
He's a guy who complete games and tells you if it's worth to or not. His show is quite funny!

3. TheJwitzz:
He's a pokemon guy who is expanded his channel into Nintendo things. I love his corny humor.

4. Peanutbutter Gamer:
He's really funny. That's all I can say! XD

5. Jontron:
I love this show. He basically makes fun of games. I am so glad he left GameGrumps and went back to doing his show.

6. League of Super Critics:
I love the Nostalgia Critic. I mostly watch his stuff on his website though. I also love Todd in the Shadows. I wish they put more of their critics on their youtube channel.

7.PieGuyRulz:
He looks at Nick shows, cartoonetwork shows, and disney channel shows. He does "rants" on the latest shows. They're basically reviews. Right now he is reviewing all the Spongebob seasons to see if the newer episodes are truly that bad.

8.BalrogTheMaster:
Another gamer channel. He reviews Nintendo games and sometimes does Nintendo 101 and talks about the history of a game sees if it's still good or not. He is really cheesy, but I love him.

That's all I can think for now.

I want to mention I watch Gamegrumps and TeamfourStar. Gamegrumps is a hit or miss with me so that's why it's not my favorite. I love TeamfourStar, but they're not my favorite channel.

I'm particularly fond of his Space Ace video. I started watching Jontron's videos recently and I have to agree. I don't dislike Jon as a Grump, but I like Danny more, and I like the Jontron videos, so best of both worlds there.

Horror games aren't my taste at all but I've been having a good time watching Markiplier play the Five Nights at Freddy's series. His hammy reactions and the "Doing so much with such simplicity" styles of those games had me really enjoying them.

I actually have a lot of respect for the FNaF games, since they don't throw grotesque imagery in your face every three seconds. Aside from the third game, the only time jump scares happen is when you're already dead. The animatronics are also really tame compared to a lot of horror monsters. They're the kind of thing that walks the line between seemingly innocent and downright creepy without seeming like they try to hard.

ProJarad's guest appearances on Grumps compelled me to do some research and I have to say I like his videos. He gives reviews, a few of them sum up the games in only a minute, others go into more detail. His review of Super Bonk is my personal favorite. He also does a LP channel where he's played among other things the aforementioned FNaF.

Favorite Youtube Channels? Empty
PostSubject: Re: Favorite Youtube Channels?   Favorite Youtube Channels? EmptyWed Mar 02, 2016 4:13 pm

It's been a while, almost a year, but now I have a handful of new youtube channels that I like watching.

First and most fresh in my mind, TamashiiHiroka.

I poked into her videos from time to time, she has a handful of nice pokemon videos, but it wasn't until I saw her list of top 10 favorite anime that I really began to adore her. The top two being Cardcaptor Sakura and Sailor Moon. (with special mention of not liking Madoka Magica). She seems to like magical girl shows in particular, specifically because they give girls an equivalent to super heroes.

Then I saw this video titled "How Pokemon Changed My Life". Just... wow. This is something that I feel a lot of people should see, particularly adults/parents who look down on Pokemon, and people who think that video games are just pure escapism that do nothing but corrupt people's minds and make them unable to face reality.

Next we have a guy who loves pie and rulez.
More of a podcast to listen to, since he doesn't have much in the way of imagery for his videos. He's got a quirky little emote, but most of it is either static images or the kind of effects you'd expect from a screensaver.

Regardless, he's got a pretty pleasant attitude and makes his points pretty clearly. I particularly like his video about why Steven Universe excels at things Adventure Time fails at. I stopped watching the latter for a lot of reasons and the three reasons he lists are a pretty big part of it, so I was amazed to see that I wasn't just blowing steam.

Next we have Bobsamurai, an anime reviewer.
Again not much in the visuals department, but he's got a nice suit and composes himself pretty well. Definitely something that's easy to listen to while I'm doing other things.

And finally, Phantomstrider8.
Someone who actually likes Dragonball GT! That's kind of nice. Most of what he does seems to be Top 10 lists of Western animation stuff, which are always fun. His #1s always surprise me, particularly the best Nickelodeon shows list.
