Hello, I am new to this forum. While ago, I just found this wonderful forum when I was working on new magical girl characters.

I am 20 years old and female. My nickname is Channy. I love drawing a lot. My dream is to become an artist and show the world my own graphic novel or comic series, of course.

I would like to tell you guys why I enjoy watching magical girls. Sailor Moon was my first anime. Not only that, but as a deaf person, Sailor Moon really saved me from speech therapy, uncomfortable sounds, and cochlear implant during my late childhood. I experienced full hearing loss at two years old. I accidentally found Sailor Moon with English subtitles with original Japanese audio on the Internet. Also it was my very first English subtitles reading experience. With subtitles, Sailor Moon and several magical girl series can make me happy, laugh, and cry alone without hearing help, so that's why I love magical girls so much. I can't give enough thanks to the series that taught me to be proud of being deaf even if it is still difficult to accept.

Sadly no I have never cosplay. If I did it would be Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura and Amu from Shugo Chara.

Writing English is rough, isn't? That's why I am improving my English which is the only way I can go to art college. I have gone to community college to improve my English this year.

I am sure you could be great at cosplaying either Amu or Sakura! I have been cosplaying for four years, so Mami Tomoe from Madoka Magica was my first cosplay (with lame used clothing) for anime con. Before this year, I cosplayed Cardcaptor Sakura which was my first sewing experience for a full costume. It was so fun to cosplay and made me feel like truly a magical girl all day, ha ha.

I can't wait to finish my own magical girl characters. It takes so forever. Coloring design just drives me crazy, ha ha. Do any of you have any original MG characters?

I thought up one as a mascot for my magical girl panel. Hosshi no Witch, Shooting Star! Sadly as I have no ability to draw she remains merely a concept.

Ah, What your mascot looks like? Maybe I can make a sketch for you to make her exists outside your mind?

Oh boy, I almost forgot about mascots adding to my new concept, but my first magical girl fiction work where the mascot was a bossy rabbit with wings and big bow choker. Yeah I am not so creative with cute stuffed animals, ha ha.

I have an oc but she's hard to pin down maybe cause i've never sat down and really worked on her. I have mascot my cat (Selina is an anime cat made real) but i haven't done anything with them since well college is a pain and gets in the way of personal stuff.

Aw, it sounds so cute. No wonder college is such a pain and I just had some bad experiences at college this year, seriously, yeah.

I really love to show my magical girl OC to you guys, but not here, so I will make a new thread at somewhere with original character related discussion. Later I will show another magical girl OC I am recently working on for weeks.
