Honestly? I was left a little disappointed in this one. Maybe it will come all together in volume 2, but i was just sort of disgusted with our title character, Suzune. Even knowing the fate of magical girls in this universe, her assassinations don't even make much sense? Outside of her magical girl life, she's not even that interesting

It's also been done to death (er..pun not intended). every single spin off so far has dealt with killing off magical girls before they become witches. (if that's even Suzune's motivation, who knows)

I also wish we had spent a little more time with one girl who says like 5 lines and then she gets killed off, even though she's on the cover. 
Atleast the rest of the cast is okay. Matsuri, the green girl is my favorite.

"How can we make the concept of being a magical girl even darker than in the TV series?

Hey remember in Oriko Magica when we had a psychotic character going around killing other magical girls? Let's make that the protagonist!"

Just... Ugh. Impossible to root for regardless of circumstances. I was disgusted when Homura threatened to kill Sayaka in the TV show proper. By that point no amount of sob story could redeem her in my eyes. Now we have the main character of a work actually going through with it.

The only thing worse they could do is have a magical girl rapist as a main character, which they'd probably justify by having her be capable of cleaning the soul gem of anyone she does it with, so she would want to protect other magical girls by doing that... even if it's against their will.

This entire franchise just needs to die already, it's way past its prime and they've escalated the darkness so far that it's too stale to even be amusing in its ridiculousness.
