Another project in the works is a shooter game I call Phoenix Hand. It's mostly based on an old shooter called Einhander.
Plot-wise, there are two planets separated by gender. The first is Mada, an all-male Orwellian world that uses mass produced advanced technology. The second is Lili, an all-female world that uses a combination of fantasy/magic and steampunk/dieselpunk weaponry. Unlike Mada's uniform nature, Lili has a custom arsenal and lifestyle. Currently, these two are at war for resources and hatred for the other gender.
There are two characters played, each with their own storyline. The important one here is Misi Femini, a young girl with a bird familiar named Gabrielle. Wielding her own battle staff she called Phenix (Phoenix in French), she joins on a raiding party against the Mada homeworld. The other one is Ludo End, a skilled pilot who uses the new Hand-1 super fighter on a near suicidal mission to lay waste to the female world.
Once I get more done, I'm willing to show a video.
