So Crystal has two episodes left and Toei has yet to announced the Infinity Arc. Do think they have it planned, but will called it something else? Like Classic and Black Moon focused on the Silver Crystal. So it made sense for it be called Sailor Moon Crystal. So maybe Infinity and Dream will be together and have its own name. Then the Stars Arc will be its own thing. 

Or do you think they're just going stop here? I know the views have been dropping since episode one with a few spikes here and there. Also the show is on TV in Japan right now, but I'm not sure how well the ratings are. Honestly I know it's stream globally, but at the end of the day Toei will only care about the Japanese fans. That's just how anime works. At least in my opinion. I'm not sure if animation studios care about Western fans.  I know a lot of Japanese fans are not pleased with Crystal. I read reviews for the first Blu Ray box on Japan Amazon. It didn't get very good reviews. I've seen on Tumblr of a Japanese fan fixing the cover art for the Blu Ray boxes. 

Me personally I think they're going to stop here. But if I am wrong I hope the rest of it is broadcast on TV not streamed. Toei may fund it better if it's on TV.

I actually think Crystal is going to continue... I remember seeing on Tumblr that it was slated to have a dub airing on TV in Portugal, and from what I understand channel airing it listed it to have 52 episodes.

That's been proven false. The same thing happened when France said they were airing the second season. The big announcement will come from Toei themselves. They had a big Crystal event the other day, but no news on future arcs.

I just feel like they would have said something by now? I could be wrong. I really don't understand how the animation world works. If I ran a studio I would make all the episodes at once then air it like we do here. But I guess they have their reasons for making the episodes by weekly. I wonder how the voice actors play into that process. Unless they do it all once before they make the episodes? @.@

Oh! Sorry 'bout that! I honestly don't follow Crystal anymore; sometimes news occasionally pops up on my Tumblr dashboard but I've long since stopped caring about the show.

From the sounds of it, then, they're going to cancel it. If the Japanese fans don't like it, then it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Personally, I'm not sad to see it go. Crystal was a hot mess, in my opinion.

No need to apologize. ^^* I belong to a Sailor Moon forum so I see people talk about Crystal all the time. Plus I do follow one SM blog that talks about Crystal a lot. 

I really don't think it's going to happen. But who knows? Toei might surprise us.

I would hope that it would continue. There is so many stories left to tell and they might as well keep going. I am keeping my fingers crossed. The Infinity arc is what really got me hooked on the classic anime

I think (and hope) they just stop at episode 26. As Mew Ami said, if they did have the future arcs planned surely they would have announced it by now

Crystal is over! At the end of the last episode they said see you soon! I wonder what that means..

I haven't seen episode 26 myself, but I've been spoiled to hell and back thanks to Tumblr.

The way they ended it, I think they probably are going to continue. I think that, by not announcing it immediately, they're hoping that the hype for the show will die down a bit... And then BAM!, everyone will be interested again when they bring it back.

That's just what I think. I don't see why they would just end the series there when the story is clearly meant to continue. And Toei is going to want to milk this cash cow for all its worth.

I say it has 50% chance of coming back.  I think it comes down to the sales of the Crystal Merch and the Blu Ray. Plus the TV ratings. 

Recently I find myself checking ANN. Mostly because I like reading opinions of Crystal. They have a chart of the Top rated shows for the week. I have yet to see Crystal on it.

True. They can't really milk the cash cow if they're not getting any cash… Well, I guess we'll just wait and see.

To be honest I haven't really seen much Crystal merch? It's based on the old anime. 

The only merch from Crystal I have seen is some figures and tampons. XD But I could be wrong.

I have only scene the figures as for the tampons, maybe the need a new marketing strategy XD

There was some sort of dip for tortilla chips that had the Crystal senshi on it. It even had a special bit of artwork of them, in uniform, enjoying tortilla chips and dip together. 

The rest of the Crystal merch is more subtle, because it could work for any incarnation of Sailor Moon. But the stuff that's tied to Crystal is the more elegant stuff like the schedule book, and the jewelry, and the navy blue skirts with a subtle crescent moon pattern.... Basically, stuff that looks like it's aimed for young adult women for normal use, not otakus for their anime collection.
