| Anyone got a MG show that's a guilty pleasure?
For me personally it's Precure. I know the show is aim at 4 year olds, but I really enjoyed Fresh Precure, Suite Precure, so far Splash Star. |

| I love Precure! Fresh is my absolute favourite and Futari wa is close behind. I wouldn't say it's a gulity pleasure, though :-p Maybe Tokyo Mew Mew? A lot of people recently have been bashing on it, but it was one of the first Manga's I ever read, and it's what got me into Magical Girls ( I loved W.I.T.C.H. but I didn't really know it was a genre) I may not watch or read Tokyo Mew Mew that much now, but it's still one of my favourites xx |

| I really don't get the hate for Tokyo Mew Mew. Sadly I can't think of others at the moment. For a person who loves Magical Girls I haven't watched a lot of shows. |

| Otogi-Jushi Akazukin is probably the biggest that comes to mind. Even I can admit it's not that great, and I could name at least seven MG shows that are better, but it's one I liked. It was cute, fun and really helped me get through a depressing time.
I really don't see Tokyo Mew Mew as a guilty pleasure. All the criticism I've heard of it basically boils down to "It's a Sailor Moon ripoff." And you hear that so much about EVERY Magical Girl show that it just doesn't mean anything anymore. In fact I went into TMM expecting something bad and was pleasantly surprised. That and Suite Precure taught me not to go with what people say and to give a show a chance on my own terms. |

| Probably Wedding Peach
I think its dumb (to put it simply) but I still own it and like to laugh at it. Its all the tropes I love - just executed very badly |

| So I'm horribly embarrassed to admit this, but I kinda enjoyed Strike Witches.
Typically I hate fan service-y stuff and the premise is incredibly ridiculous, but I had some fun watching it. |

| I'm a sucker for war themed movies and TV shows so I enjoyed Strike Witches despite the fact that I'm not into ecchi stuff. But there are enough genuinely good scenes in the show (The 'Sweet Duet' scene in S2 was fantastic) that I wouldn't call it my guilty pleasure.
Vividred on the other hand? Total guilty pleasure. First episode was actually really good but the rest of the show wasn't anywhere near as good. Lots of fun, great animation, but really badly written and generic. Yet despite the fact that Rei is literally Homura and the fanservice was completely unnecessary at times I still tuned in every week to see what happened next. Granted there was pretty much nothing good airing that season but I still don't regret watching it. |
