| One of them's Grump.
The other's Not-So-Grump.
They play video games while recording their progress and commentary on youtube.
I have recently discovered them and have lost a ton of hours of my life watching their escapades. Well, mostly I've just been scanning the funny moments section of the tropes page about them. I wouldn't be able to endure watching entire episodes for lengthy games like Wind Waker HD and Sonic 2006.
In the begin there was Arin (Egoraptor) and Jon (Jontron), but last year Jon decided to move on, so he could focus on his own thing, and thus Dan (Dan?) took the mantle of Not-So-Grump. And honestly... I will smack anyone who hates on Dan just because he's not Jon. He's a great guy and really funny in his own right. People just need to accept change and look toward the good.
Their humor gets a little distasteful at times, but it's minor enough to ignore. I don't think I've ever heard them say anything that made me honestly disgusted. Uncomfortable is the best word. But at least their editor (Barry) censors things.
Favorite moments include...
Arin getting stolein Kirby SuperStar
The discussion following Dan pulling a bomb out of the ground in Mario Bros 2
The jokes about Flash Man and Crash Man having rhyming names in Megaman 2
Arin gets greedy in Mario 3 - Even more hilarious because neither of them knows that you can wait until the platform leaves, then jump back to the beginning and ride it again.
Dan sees a Mask Koopa's Mask for the first time in Super Mario World - The next two times he sees a Mask Koopa in the following episode are also hilarious. |

| I follow them! I found out about them when they first launched. I follow Jon's channel. I was sad when Jon left, but I was happy for him. Plus I like Dan too! He seems like a cool guy.
I will say this I watch them from time to time. Because sometimes they can get a little gross. They talk about poop (which can be funny, but one time they talked about it almost the whole episode) or guy stuff. Yeah I really don't want hear about guy problems (body stuff). -_- |

| Yea, that's the kind of thing I'm talking about. I don't need to hear about how Dan got himself into a neck brace trying to do inappropriate things to himself.
I'm also really disappointed to find out that Arin and Dan are behind that Luigi's ballad video. Really distasteful. I've checked out their Legend of Zelda rap thing too, same juvenile humor. |

| Yeah their rap videos have poor humor if you ask me. Regardless they are funny when not being gross. XD |

| I was thinking of sending them Drill Dozer, since it's an obscure, underrated game that needs more love.
But then I realized... That game is complete fuel for immature jokes.
Seriously. |

| They would probably play it base on the name. I bet they get a lot of games sent to them. |

| I've watched a lot more of their videos since I first made this thread, completed a lot of playthroughs and I've come to two conclusions.
1 ) Game Grumps has the inexplicable power to make me want to play whatever game I'm watching.
2 ) I don't really care for the Jon era of the show.
I've watched a lot of the episodes with Jon in them and they have a much harder time holding my attention. It also helps that Arin and Dan play a lot of games I'm more familiar with, like the Mario ones. They also finish a lot more games than they did when Jon was the co-host.
In general Arin and Dan's chemistry is a lot more fun and silly. Their videos have become one of those feel-good things that can brighten up a bad mood, just like all those magical girl shows I need to get back to watching. |

| My main problem with them is that usually they end up complaining about a game. They don't listen to the game at all and then walk around like 5 minutes going on about not knowing how to play. So I just watch them in small doses. |

| That's why I didn't like the one Mario playthrough Jon did. They spent the whole time talking about how the New Super Mario games (kind of agree) and Mario 3D Land (Strongly disagree) are soulless and just existing to milk the franchise.
Arin does have a really bad habit of zipping through NPC dialog and then not knowing what to do despite it having just been explained. Fortunately as of their Wind Waker HD play they've started looking up guides when they get stuck. They spent 70% of the game carrying around a forest firefly thinking it was a fairy, leading to one of the most hilarious fail-deaths ever.
One criticism of the Dan era that I can actually respect is that because Dan himself isn't a gamer like Jon was, he's frequently regulated to commentary. Unless it's strictly a co-op game, it's usually Arin who plays the game, only passing it to Dan if he dies enough times.
By his own admission, Dan has stated for the record that he's only really good at old school NES games, particularly five titles including Mario Bros 2 and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, most likely titles he's played for a long time. I'm fine with it though, he's still loads of fun with his crazy stories, and he's not as LOUD as Jon. |

| I like Dan alot. He seems like a cool guy to hang out with. So I didnt mind when Jon left. I just wish they handle Jon leaving better.
I do wish they wouldn't talk over the parts when game tells you what to do. >.> |
