| I've loved Havest moon since Harvest Moon 64, Which it had good love confessions. I liked Magical Melody and Live a Wonderful Life for gamecube. They were pretty awesome, especially to open up your own little shop and sell wares. I liked the Mineral town series, my favorite one was Karen. Currently I'm playing Tree of Tranquility and I gotta say it's tough but that's what I like harvest moon for. I also like the RUne Factory series, my all time favorite protagonist is Raguna, of whom I never grow tired of playing in the Rune Factory frontier, and the last battle with Gelwein is one of the most Crowning moments of Awesome I've seen. |

| I loved Tree of Tranquility and it's easy when you look up the recipes for the rainbows online so you can hoard the ingredients. Have you ever played Animal Parade? That's where it's at.
Oh! I high recommend the HM 3DS: A New Beginning. It's the best HM hand held yet! |

| I've loved Harvest Moon since I got A Wonderful Life for the Gamecube when I was eight.
I am currently working on Tale of Two Towns, in which I am trying to open the tunnel, expand my farm, and get friendship points with Dirk so I have view the final flower event with Kana so I can get married because I like preventing my HM character from being Forever Alonez. |

| I think his name is Cam. xD
I haven't played it in a few days lol, I've been stuck to Animal Crossing but I think I'm going to go back on it soon. It irritates me that I have stuff I need to do and I've been a bit too lazy to do it due to tiredness and braindead-ness.
I think one of the features that happens in the game that can get a little irritating for me has to be the Alpacas and their need to skip...as cute as it is, the game won't let me move them when they're doing that so if it's raining and my dog decides not to take it in and it's skipping it can be a real pain. X____X |

| The thing that irritate me about the game is that you had to wait to get things because they had to appear requests. I found that really annoying. |

| Yeah, especially when you had no hammer for a good while so you couldn't do a lot of the requests that asked for material stone anyway. X____X
Some things to unlock is alright, it just gets irritating when it's an item that is usually quite vital and you have to wait and hope that it comes up soon.
The requests only became a little more difficult when I had a lot to do on my farm and stuff I wanted to do with the main game plot and only taking the requests I needed to take. So I would end up with a board filled with random requests that I just didn't have the time to look at. xD |

| Exactly. I like the idea of doing requests for villagers, but upgrading/getting tools should not be a request. I should be able to buy these tools. |

| Agreed...
Luckily, a lot of the tools for the animals are given to you when you get them, the only thing is that if you want to get a brush easily, you'd have to buy a sheep as you won't get one with a cow, and if the cow gets dirty it may get unhappy.
There are features that I like, though. Like the dating feature, it feels more like you and whatever character you are dating are doing more than just you appearing, giving a gift, and walking away, it feels like the characters are spending more time together than they were when it was just events. |

| Yes I love the dating feature! The 3DS game slightly uses this feature. You become boyfriend and girlfriend to see the rest of your love interest's heart events. Sadly you can't go on dates like in Town. |

| Sounds like a nice feature to have, though. xD
I have thought about getting the 3DS version, but I won't be able to get it until later because I'm trying to save my money for something xD
Although I might put some aside for things such as that a little later, and I'll probably never complete ToTT if I get distracted with a new Harvest Moon game.
I know because I have been distracted a few times before. |

| The only harvest moon game I ever completed was More friends of Mineral Town. I was able to beat it because there was no plot. XD You just farm and get marry and have a kid. Ta da!
I wish the kept the befriend the villagers plot from the playstation game. It would make things more challenging. |

| Yeah, the older games were much more simple! I admit, I sometimes miss the simplicity of the games and being able to relax a little more.
The only thing is your child stays a toddler who just learned how to walk for the rest of eternity, and his/her parents haven't aged a day~
I wonder if something timey whimey thing happened and then all aging stopped one day, and now whoever lives in any of the towns in Harvest Moon would stay the same age...FOREVER. |

| I believe in wonderful life you do age and your child takes over and you can play as them. In ToT and AP you can eventually play as your kid as well. |

| In a Wonderful life the game just ends, and depending on the way your child is raised depends if they take over the farm or not.
I haven't got ToT or AP so I'm not completely sure, I know in ToT it's possible to start a new game in which the character is supposed to be your child, but it's like your character never existed and you can re-marry who you married the last time around which kind of sucks.
I'd like of like to see a game where the town changes with time like wonderful life, so every child in town has also aged in time along with everybody else, and you to be able to continue as that child instead of the game just ending or having something like mentioned above.
I just think it would be interesting xD |
