| OK i know not a thing about Precure and I can't even tell if an image is good or not for things around the site, so here's what i need to figure out, where to start. I haven't any idea but i want to learn. So fill me in and point me in the right direction to wade into this anime. |

| Heartcatch and Smile are probably the best way to start. Although Heartcatch might raise your expectations for the franchise a little too high |

| I started with Futari wa, then Heartcatch and their pretty much my favorites because they both deal with just two characters learning to work together and stuff.
But alot of people who like the more "team based" stuff like Fresh or Smile more...from what I've seen.
I would just go with your gut to be honest. |

This quiz is really helpful. And if I get to throw my 2 cents into the ring, my favorites are Heartcatch, Fresh, and Dokidoki. |

The important thing to remember is that each Precure season has its own unique flavor, and you shouldn't expect one season to be just like the other. Even Yes Precure 5 is different from Smile despite both having a team of five main characters with the same basic color scheme and somewhat similar personalities. |

| I got Futari Wa Precure on that quiz thing. I this k it'd be intersting to have a mahou shoujo series with only two characters, and even better, totally different personalities. |

Funnily enough, i have watched Futari wa precure, DokiDoki Precure...heartcatch precure, Go!princess precure but I haven't watched the others and the above-named one yet...
Now I feel strangely awkward. I must find DVDs or some channel with precure on it now... |

| I really can't get into HeartCatch...
The first series I watched was Futari wa (the first) and I fell in love with it. It's still one of my favourites.
My favourites are Fresh and HappinessCharge and I'm loving Go! Princess so far :-)
Just start with whichever you feel most attracted to xx |

| Honestly, with Pretty Cure, I think the best thing to do is to just sample all of the ones that appeal to you until you find the one that seems interesting enough to continue. There's no need to agonize over which one to watch; you don't have to watch the entire thing once you've seen the first few episodes. Putting it down to watch another one doesn't mean you can never come back to it. Just watch whichever ones look cool, and go from there! |
