| Studio Pierrot's final attempt at an original Magical Girl series to date from 1998. One of my favorites from them as well~ 9 year old Miho is shy girl who likes to draw manga and dreams of being famous. After having a strange dream she meets Pigu and Mogu, a couple of "fairies of time" that look like dinosaurs. They grant her a powerful pen that not only lets her create whatever she draws, she can turn into an older girl known as "Lala" . After transforming, she gets scouted by an modeling agency and so Miho/Lala's adventures in the show business world begin! Thoughts? anyone else seen it? It came out while CCS was being hyped up so it didn't have much of an impact and its a little bit slower paced. But I think its a nice under appreciated gem of a show. I also have a soft spot for it because out of all the magical girl things I've seen, Miho reminds me of myself when I was a little girl |

| I love Fancy Lala. Unlike Creamy Mami, Lala Idol Career was progressive, she had to work hard to get her place on Idol World. The magic was a mistery here too, cause no one even Pigu and Mogu really know what Miho can do with it, except to Grow Up and make clothes. The Character Design and Animation was perfect, it was pretty uniform between episodes. Probably music wasn't so good like on Creamy Mami, but it was nice. |

| Yeah, I think the sung music was definitely a weak point. The instrumental stuff I like though (fun fact, the BGM composer also did the BGM for the Live Action Sailor moon)
some songs were memorable, but other kindof just fade into the background. Also Miho's voice actress was just 14 when she made her debut here - and it.....really really sounds like it. |

| I remember watching an episode of this years ago... I found it kind of boring at the time, but I'd really like to try watching it again. It seems adorable! |

| FANCY LALA!!!!! This is my all time favorite magical girl anime! Ever! It's the best one IMHO! Seriously, why can't more anime be like this nowadays? It has so much heart and soul put into it. I hate to sound like a hipster, but I like this way more than Card Captor Sakura (not to say I hate the latter. I love CCS, but Fancy Lala had a stronger impact on me)! I'd love to show Fancy Lala to my kids someday, if I ever have any...which I likely won't. |

| I just started watching the anime last week. I discovered the show on Tubi Tv. It is free to stream legally! Also, the streaming site has a ton of anime including Sailor Moon. I am unfamiliar with magical idols, but that's all I thought was Fullmoon o Sagashite.
For Fancy Lala... I think the show is a hidden gem, even I haven't finished it yet. It hit me so deep when the girl had a tiny cat, you know. I was anxious during the rest of the episode to the end. I can't wait for rest of the show! |

| I love Fancy Lala and it's very a good series too! What I love is that the series is very relatable and it also reminds me of Cardcaptor Sakura too except without the cards. It's too bad that Fancy Lala only had 26 episodes and it would have been nice if it had more episodes too. It's also very sad that Fancy Lala wasn't very popular and even though it's a very underrated Anime series I still love it because of the story along with the characters especially Miho because she is so adorable and relatable. |
