I'm going to post this now so there's plenty of time for people to sign up and start working.

Anyway, what's the holiday season without a Secret Santa?

For anyone who needs an explanation, Secret Santa is when users sign up and are randomly (and secretly ) assigned to give a gift to another user.  As your host, I will be the one to make these assignments.

Rules:
Of course, we need some rules and/or guidelines to make sure everything goes smoothly.

1. Keep the name of the user you're gifting a secret.  Half the fun is having no idea who is going to gift you.  The best way to accomplish this is to not tell anyone even if they're not the person you're gifting.

2. Don't request a certain user.  All assignments will be made using a random number generator and are final.  Of course, you can always give your friends gifts outside of this event.  The more gifts, the merrier.   

3. Please be sure you have enough time.  This is a biggie.  There's nothing more discouraging than someone working hard and gifting their secret person and then not receiving anything from the person assigned to them.  This event is about giving to your fellow members, and if you don't have the time to create something for your secret person, please refrain from signing up.  It will not make you a bad person if you don't participate.

4. Keep gifts digital.  We don't want to force people to spend money and give out their address.  Similar to number two, if you want to give someone you're good friends with that's your decision.  However, these arrangements should be mutually agreed upon and made in private.

5. Don't rush.  People can tell when you put your heart into something compared to when you wait until the last minute.  Making your person happy is the point of this even, after all.

6. Send your gifts between Christmas and New Years.  Let me know beforehand if you need extra time so I can let your person know it might be late.


7. Have fun!  


Assignments have been given.  Please have your gifts to your person by the end of the year! :)
