| It is really, but you live in a town of animals and you just live a peaceful life.
You earn money to expand your house, make friends with the animals and complete the museum by donating to it.
In the recent one (the one I got which is for the 3DS) you are mayor and you can get to improve the town you live in. |

| It's a nice mindless game that helps pass the time. Be warn time flows like real life time and the villagers freak out if you been gone for long. On my GC game they new I was gone over a year. XD
I heard about Rune Factory. People keep telling me it's good. Still unsure about it. |

| Rune Factory is, as the first spinoff advertises in the tile, a "fantasy Harvest Moon". Farming and fighting, and you also have the usual "befriend the villagers", as well as doing your own blacksmithing, alchemy/pharmicuticals, and crafting accessories. Each Rune Factory game gets better and better, though I only own I-II-III for the DS. IV is for the 3DS (don't own that), and then there are two others that are for systems I don't own, either. |

| Well, I think I got my RFIII for $15 used. I did buy the original new, but I've enjoyed all of the three I own. (The three of the main spinoff-series, which are for the DS. The one for the 3DS, I don't know if it's out yet, but that one is RFIV.) |
