I had refrained from clearing any of the divine beasts, partly because I wanted the Blight Gauntlet to stay in Hyrule Castle, so when the DLC rolled around I ended up having to cram my way through all four of them in quick succession.
The ancient saddle is a nice little treat. It reminds me of the good old days where you'd play Epona's Song and your horse just comes to you. Anything to cut out the amount of wasted time this game puts you through is appreciated.
The motorcycle is a neat little toy, but it's mostly good for just riding around aimlessly. Also ramming into animals to collect meat. Fighting Guardians while riding it is messy and impractical, no substitute for a good horse.
The game was clearly not meant for the bike, as I've run into multiple situations where the game just can't keep up with it, pausing and lagging for a while. Most baffling though was when I'm riding along and suddenly the bike explodes and I'm thrown off of it for seemingly no reason. Then as I hit the ground, two of those giant wooden boxes just magically appear. They were there, but the game couldn't load them in time.
The bonus dungeon was kind of neat, if a little barren. I liked that (as far as I could tell) you can't just do the rooms in any order, since you need to get one area rotating in order to clear the room in another area. Guardian enemies just randomly appearing after you clear rooms was silly though.
The rest of the DLC was a wash. Too much recycled content. More shrines, and the flashbacks didn't do enough to flesh out the champions. Instead they seem to exist just to heap more praise onto Zelda, which she got enough of in the main memories.
