Nyx stands at about 4'11.  She has long tentacle hair that she wears in braided pigtails. Her natural hair color is purple and she has pink eyes. She is slim and lean. Nyx normally wears t-shirts and sweat shorts. She loves big size gym shoes and boots. Nyx is usually seen wearing a pain of headphones.


Personality:
Nyx is a quick thinker and a risk taker. She loves to take charge and do things her way. She is optimistic and outgoing. She loves to be around people and be the center of attention. She gets easily bored and has to find something to keep herself busy with. She is goofy and loud. She has a hard time keeping her mouth shut. Nyx loves to tease her twin brother Eos. She gets upset if anyone else tries to pick on him. She is quite protective of him (they both watch out for each other). Nyx is a good athlete and is a natural at Turfwars. Nyx has high confidence in abilities and is competitive. She prefers the shooter weapons. Her favorite is the Splash O Matic. She rarely switches her weapon, but every now in then she likes to branch out. Nyx is warm and kind hearted. She loves music and her favorite band is the Squid Sisters. 

History:
Nyx was born in the suburbs of Inkopolis. She has a twin brother named Eos. Nyx was born first and views herself as the older sister. The two are quite close and they always look out for each other. At times Nyx does tease Eos, but she means no harm. The of two of them grew up in a loving home. Both their parents are teachers and met through work. Growing up Nyx dreamed about becoming a professional  Turf War athlete. She wants to sign on with her favorite Turf team, The Humboldts. When they turned 14 and gain their humanoids forms, Nyx begged her parents to let her go to Inkopolis and let her take part in the Intramural Turf War leagues. Her parents said no and told her education was more important than sports. Angry, Nyx sneaks down to Inkopolis (with Eos following right behind) and joined the league. They sneak down every weekend.

At birth Inklings are squids and as the age they evolve. At the age of 14th they take on a humanoid form. They can switch between their humanoid form and their squid form.

All Inklings' forms have abilities associated with them. In humanoid form, Inklings can splatter a special type of colored ink by using various weapons, such as a gun that resembles a Super Soaker. This ink can be quickly spread over many surfaces with the exception of green barrels, pavement, and glass. This ink can inhibit the movement of Inklings that do not have a matching color. When used as a projectile, ink can damage opposing Inklings. In squid form, an Inkling can swim and jump quickly through ink of the same color to swim up walls and through wire fences and grates into areas that are not typically reachable. Squids cannot travel past striped barriers and swim into inaccessible areas. While in squid form, if Inklings are in their own ink color, they will be invisible if they stay still and when moving quickly, only slight ripples will appear. While submerged in ink, they will also refill their ink reserves, which the humanoid Inkling can use for their weapons. When squid form Inklings are on an inkless surface, they will be visible and move slowly, even slower than a humanoid Inkling.
Inklings are unable to swim in water. When underwater, their form dissolves because their bodies are actually made of liquid. This may also be what allows squid-form Inklings to pass through grates and travel along ink lines.

Inklings use their abilities in a sport called Turf Wars. In this sport players form two teams of four. Their goal is to cover the most turf in their ink color. Whoever covers the most turf wins the match. Their also different style matches (called rank battles in the game): Splat Zone, Tower Control, and Rainmaker. These matches have different goals in order to win. Splat Zone cover a certain area with your turf and tower control get the tower to your opponent's side. (Rainmaker is not out yet in the game)

They have many different types of weapons (which have sub weapons):



^Also they have different ink colors they can use in a match. Their clothes and hair color change base on the last ink colored they used.
