What Male Inklings look like in the game:


Eos stands about 4'11. He has short tentacle hair that he pars (the second one on the top) to the side. His natural hair color is purple and he pink eyes. Eos is slim and lean. He normally seen wearing a camo hoodie and a pair of googles on his head. Sometimes he'll switch it up wear T-shirts with baseball caps. He loves to wear gym shoes. 

Personality

Eos is artistic (he loves art) and passionate about life.  He lives in the moment and is optimistic like Nyx. He is outgoing and loves to crack jokes. Eos loves puns. However he is a bit more reserved than Nyx. He is laid back and prefers to take his time. He his creative and loves to think outside the box. Eos enjoys Turf Wars like his sister, but he's not competitive. Instead he plays them for fun. He's a decent player and prefers the rollers. His main weapons are the Inkbrush and the Carbon Roller. Like Nyx he is warm and kind hearted. He likes to help out others and give them advice. He enjoys music like his sister prefers Jazz music over Pop.  However the Squid Sisters are a guilty pleasure for him and Eos teases him about it. 



History:
Eos was born in the suburbs of Inkopolis. He has a twin sister named Nyx ( she was born first and views herself as the older sister). The two are quite close and they always look out for each other. At times Nyx does tease Eos, but he knows she means no harm. The of two of them grew up in a loving home. Both their parents are teachers and met through work.  While his sister busy with sports Eos spend his time drawing and painting. He dreams about teaching art like his father. When he turned 14, Nyx told him that they could finally take part in the Intramural Turf War leagues in Inkopolis. To support his dream's dream he told her he would take part in the league. However he told he would be playing for fun and won't take the games seriously. Nyx understood. When Nyx asked their parents about going to Inkopolis, they said no and that education was more important than sports. Nyx then came up with an idea to sneak down to the city on the weekends. Eos was unsure about the idea, but went along anyway. He wants to makes sure Nyx stays out of trouble.

At birth Inklings are squids and as the age they evolve. At the age of 14th they take on a humanoid form. They can switch between their humanoid form and their squid form.

All Inklings' forms have abilities associated with them. In humanoid form, Inklings can splatter a special type of colored ink by using various weapons, such as a gun that resembles a Super Soaker. This ink can be quickly spread over many surfaces with the exception of green barrels, pavement, and glass. This ink can inhibit the movement of Inklings that do not have a matching color. When used as a projectile, ink can damage opposing Inklings. In squid form, an Inkling can swim and jump quickly through ink of the same color to swim up walls and through wire fences and grates into areas that are not typically reachable. Squids cannot travel past striped barriers and swim into inaccessible areas. While in squid form, if Inklings are in their own ink color, they will be invisible if they stay still and when moving quickly, only slight ripples will appear. While submerged in ink, they will also refill their ink reserves, which the humanoid Inkling can use for their weapons. When squid form Inklings are on an inkless surface, they will be visible and move slowly, even slower than a humanoid Inkling.
Inklings are unable to swim in water. When underwater, their form dissolves because their bodies are actually made of liquid. This may also be what allows squid-form Inklings to pass through grates and travel along ink lines.

Inklings use their abilities in a sport called Turf Wars. In this sport players form two teams of four. Their goal is to cover the most turf in their ink color. Whoever covers the most turf wins the match. Their also different style matches (called rank battles in the game): Splat Zone, Tower Control, and Rainmaker. These matches have different goals in order to win. Splat Zone cover a certain area with your turf and tower control get the tower to your opponent's side. (Rainmaker is not out yet in the game)

They have many different types of weapons (which have sub weapons):







^Also they have different ink colors they can use in a match. Their clothes and hair color change base on the last ink colored they used.
