E3 is here!!! 


Let's talk about Nintendo shall we? Because all know they will dominate conference. 

Their Digital event is June 16 @ 9 am PT. Sadly I will be at work and won't be able to watch the video until I get home. It's going to be hard. I will be so tempted to look up stuff on my phone that day. 

So what do you think they'll talk about this year? I really hope to see more games for the Wii U. I"M LOOKING AT YOU ZELDA U! They probably won't talk about the next Zelda game, but I can dream.

I think they've confirmed they're not talking about Zelda U this year. :(

I hope we see some good games that haven't been announced yet.  I'd like to see a Story of Seasons game for the Wii U.  Natsume announced a Harvest Moon game, but I'm not sure I trust them to get it right after what I heard about Lost Valley.

A Pokemon Wii U game similar to Colosseum and XD would be cool but super unlikely.  Oh!  I'd love to see a new Paper Mario game.  They haven't had one on a console this generation.

Hmm.  I'm sure I'll think of more that I want later.

They have a preshow today! 2:35 to 3 pm PT. I'm looking forward to it!

It's time for the World Championships!!!


I caught a bit of the preshow. They played the new Yoshi game for the Wii U. It's super cute! I can't wait to play it. <3

The original Mother game for the NES will be coming the Wii U eshop for America and Europe! Does this mean we'll get Mother 3? It's a GBA game and Wii U eshop has GBA games. I'm not really interested in this series

I went out to eat with my sister and completely missed the preshow.  I might have to try the first Mother game.  I have Earthbound but haven't really delved into it much yet.

I didn't get watch the whole thing. It was live on youtube so most likely they'll let people watch the recording. The Championships is still going on. I have it playing the background. They're playing a lot of games. They even played Splatoon! It killed me to watch the bad players.

Last year was way better.

The puppets were cute. I am happy to hear Star Fox is coming out this year. I really want to play a Star Fox game.  The World Championships got me excited for Super Mario Maker. Super hype for Yoshi's Wolly World. It's super cute and I'm glad they finally had a release date. Xenoblade looked awesome!! I want to play it seeing how I missed out on the Wii game. 

As for the other games:

Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam. It actually looks like a ton of fun! It's making the two series together. I may get this.

Zelda Triforce game: Ehh?? To me Zelda is a personal game. I really don't want to play it with other people. They did say you can play it by yourself, but I feel like it wouldn't be the same. 

Hyrule Warrior Legends: Why? Why on earth are they putting HW on the 3DS? It's prefect as a Wii U game and needs to stay that way. I would love to play as Tera! But I heard you need the 3DS copy to send her over to the Wii U copy. Lame -_-

AC: Designer game: It looks super cute and I love decorating homes in video games. But I'm on the fence about this. Does your character live in their own house? Can walk around the town and interactive with the villagers? I love how you have full range to decorate a house. You can even decorate the front yard. I wish they put these mechanics in New Leaf. It bugs that my furniture doesn't line up well. Like a chair with a table. Finally how do those Ambiio cards affect the game? I don't own a New 3DS and I don't want go out and buy an ambiio adapter.  

AC: Ambiio Festival: Nintendo..you had me for a second. I was about to die of happiness. An AC game on the Wii U. I've been wanting one since New Leaf. But no it's freakn party game and by the looks of it you need use Ambiio in order to play it. >.<

UGH WHY!! Okay I love the Ambiio and all. It's cool that you can collect figures that add little bonuses to your games. I know some people bitch about that, but they don't take away from game like Skylanders does. The only game so far that kind of does that is Mario Party 10. But to make a full game around them? Ugh!! 

Plus they didn't even really showcase the game so I have no clue if you play mini games between turns or not. All I saw was things happen. 

Games I didn't care about. Skylanders, that Yokai game, Mario Tennis (come on Nintendo we want a new 3D game.) That weird Fire Emblem crossover game. Okay I remember seeing a trailer for it while back. It looked cool, but the trailer for the event made it looks so strange. O.o I have no idea what you even do in that game!
