Not to sound lazy, but while I've been enjoying Utena, I don't have the attention span to finish.

If I watch the movie, will I basically get everything out of it?  Or should I just suck it up and watch the whole thing?

The Utena movie has the same themes as the show? but the TV series makes it easier to understand the 1st time through?

I love the movie, its my favorite movie of all movies. So I'd say give it a shot if you think that's best.

But get ready to be confused.
