Hello everyone~! The name is Jen (if you couldn't tell ^^') and I am a mahou shoujo fan, albeit a very new one. I don't have much exposure to the genre past the Madoka Magica series and Cardcaptor Sakura. And despite being part of the Sailor Moon generation I have not been able to watch it (tv choices were limited in childhood somewhat ^^;), so it's embarrassing to say but I'll be watching this for the first time when the bluray gets in lol. I did get to go to the English dub showing at the panel from Otakon this year however, so I at least got a few episodes in and got to be part of the hype.

I've been doing research into mahou shoujo and decided to try to watch and collect as much as I can, especially some of the older anime. I had some fun catching what bit of fansubbing I could from Mahou Tsukai Sally not long ago. <3 And am currently watching LilPri on crunchyroll atm, a bit of a guilty pleasure. =p I also collect anime figures with my other half and would love to have a mahou shoujo section set up in our anime/nerd room someday lol.

There's nothing to be embarrassed about. I grew up in the 90s and my life is 80% magical girls, but I've never really gotten into Sailor Moon. I finished the manga earlier this year but I wouldn't call myself a fan.

Welcome to the forum! I was mostly into magical girls as a kid, for awhile i was more into video games as a teenager, but I got back into magical girls as an adult! So, don't worry, i'm just rediscovering them more again now myself. 

I have some iffy memories of getting upset over my name changes on this forum and feeling ocd about it though so I don't know if i'll be active myself, but i love how nice the group seems to be :) And, I guess try to focus on having fun, right?^^ Who knows why I got so ocd about my name changes here in the past...(im autistic btw)
