I know news about this is already traveling fast, so it might be old news. But I'm already seeing confusion since everything happened at once yesterday ^^; 

but the new Sailor Moon's promo art has been revealed!!

yesterday afternoon, the official 20th Anniversary Page had a countdown saying on the 8th day, they would reveal details and keyart for the new anime, slated for July 2014. 

However, hackers had immediately found the image on their server (creatively named "anime.png")  and now the secret has been revealed as:



It looks pretty badass if I do say so myself. 

Toei or whoever in charge has now taken down the countdown though ^^; I feel bad all their promotional work is now for nothing. (who told the tech guys to put the picture on the server. Or name it "anime.png" for that matter?)

any thoughts?

(I've already read people thinking the countdown was actually for the new anime airdate, or that the countdown was for anything more. but nope. this is it. along with a plot summary and a staff list)

Dang this is it? I thought this was a teaser and on the 8th day we would get more artwork.

Regardless I love picture and the name of the series as well. To me Crystal is referring to the silver crystal. The dark kingdom arc is about it so good choice! The picture is my desktop's wallpaper. XD

there is a special hell for the people that leaked this early…..i mean that.. it's just not ok…we've been waiting for years we could have waited a few more days..

I agree with Ed that was a horrid move on the their part considering it wasn't theirs to reveal in the first place. I feel bad for the Advertisers, they must have been so excited to reveal this only to have it stolen from them.

But regardless of that I am pretty excited for this :D

Im excited but at the same time I've been waiting so long that my excitement is well drained. It's hard to stay excited about something when you've been waiting for years for it. I just hope they give it to us this year….
