Any fans of the Paper Mario series? I love this series to death which is funny because Im not a big turn base RPG fan.Maybe Mario makes it better. XD
The games in the series:
Paper Mario 64: Was on the N64. I have recently beaten it on the Wii thanks to the VC. However I did play this game back in the day just never beat it because I didnt own it.
Paper Mario Thousand Year Old Door: Was on the GC. My favorite game out of the series! I have played it to death, but sadly I never beaten it because of the final boss. >.<
Super Paper Mario: On the wii. I own this and my feelings are meh toward it. I like the story but I am not a fan of the gameplay. I miss the RPG battling and the partners (Yes I am aware of the little pixel things that follow you, but it's not the same). They made it into a 2D Mario game, but with a deep story. Didnt beat it.
Paper Mario Sticker Star: On the 3DS. I own this as well and again my feelings are meh. I enjoy it more than the wii game and I am glad they brought back the RPG battling. But something is missing hmm. Partners. I like the crown sticker girl that follows you around, but I still miss the partners. Didnt beat it, but I will go back to it soon.
I dunno if you're familiar with the Mario and Luigi rpg series, but they involve some quirky real-time action button... action. Like you can jump freely at any point during the battle, and you have to time this to avoid the enemy attacks.
Does Paper Mario run like this, or is it more of a conventional rpg like Pokemon?

A battle would be like this:
This is from the first game. In Thousand Year Old Door they updated the battle system a bit. Like your partner gets their own health bar. Also theres audience that watches you.

Pretty good series. Beat the N64 with ease. The battle with Bowser is simply awesome, one of the touching moments with action only Mario can give you. The others, each had their own essence, the N64 one was the best, others brought good things too, such as Luigi's dark costume(Don't remember it's name) and more or less slightly different feels tan normal mario games.
