Since I already made a friendship thread....

What are your favorite romantic relationships? (canon or not.)

I don't really do the whole shipping thing personally, but I do like the whole "Tomboyish, responsible best friend paired with innocent, silly best friend."

Rin and Nozomi from Yes Precure 5 pretty much exemplify this, to the point that Rin seems more like a nagging wife than a friend.

For me it was originally Akane and Miyuki from Smile Precure for me, but the previous two outdid the shippy vibes.

Also, pretty much all the ships from CCS except the student/teacher one, and the ones that involve cousins. I mean if they're not biologically related that's slightly less awkward. 

I can't really see Sakura and Yukito getting romantic, but the former having a crush on the latter was adorable and I didn't really care for the way they explained it away. Same foes for Syaoran's crush on him.

Aren't Akane and Miyuki supposed to be spiritual successors to Rin and Nozomi, Rlinksoul? 

And for me...

I really enjoyed how Sailor Moon developed in the romance department, and Usagi x Mamoru and Haruka x Michiru tie in my personal list of favorite romances. (Chibiusa x Helios is also done well)

Fuu x Ferio in Magic Knight Rayearth is another favorite, along with Lucia x Katio from Mermaid Melody and both of Mitsuki's romances in Full Moon o Sagashite.

Pretty much. After finishing Yes Precure 5, I feel that they are quite similar in terms of characters, set up and overall lack of plot. The key differences being the goals of the villains and the fact that hte Yes Precure 5 villains frequently participate in fights, where as in Smile Precure, the villains only fought with the Cures three times at best.

That's pretty much it. At this point I ship pretty much any ship so I dont get let down if my ship doesnt happen.

well Homura x Madoka is one that sticks out immediately. 
I also really liked Kirika + Oriko from that  bad spin-off manga. really. they were the best part about that train-wreck

Oh! Sae and Takakura-sempai from Mahou Tsukai Tai. They're so dorky and adorable. 
Also, Akane and Minoru. Weird age difference aside, I really like the "Big dude with a scary face and heart of gold + petite, pretty and spunky or coquettish girl" mixture (I blame Giroro and Natsumi) I was so sad when Minoru didn't make it to the sequel TV series :< 

CCS:
Sakura and Tomoyo. I'm sorry, I actually don't like Shaoran and I don't know if I can explain why. But I just really liked the chemistry between Tomoyo and Sakura more. Maybe I'm just biased because I love Tomoyo and I want her to be happy.
Also Toya and Yukito. I know it's canon already, but I need some more on-screen action. C'mon CLAMP, you queens of BL teases >:I

Oh dear...

I have a HUGE fangirl problem when it comes to Puella Magi ships. Most of the time it's for personal preferences or based on anime or doujinshi. (Such as Mami x Homu in "Tight Rope"... Don't go there please.) And I have saved a whole ton of pretty pics. But for my favorite (and I think I mentioned this in the friendships' page) is the KyoMami one. Ships can stay on the "friendship" level like the obvious magical girl themes, but this certain bond needs to be close to give me happy feels. Also that ship is unappreciated because of the rapid SayaKyo fanboys/fangirls. :(

I also like Mado x Homu, but like the issue above, I love Homura x "any girl"... (Dammit RPs...)

And then the Doki Doki PreCure madness such as "Mana's Harem" (a actual pool tag in Danbooru)... But between Mana x Rikka or Mana x Regina... I feel like that Mana likes Regina more, leaving Rikka most likely on the selfless friendzone corner. I wish that Cospa makes a Regina Graphfig papercraft to match my Cure Heart one... :(

Oh yea Akari x Luna from Genei-Taiyou. I still feel that this plot-line was FORCED to lure the yuri fans into the show, but unlike the "Lonely Mami" trend, Luna has SOMEONE she does NOT feel alone! Though the "yuri" element also helps create Luna's flaws, which 'course lead to the naked werewolf syndrome... But I'm happy that Akari fixes the issue BY THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP!!! >>;;

Still not bad though...
