And it's that time again! First of all Merry Christmas to all who read this thread!

Second, time to share the holiday gets! This year instead of doing the usual Christmas shopping, I got to order my stuff online.

1 ) Pre-Ordered Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. Still no release date on that one.

2 ) A 16gb SD card for my 2DS. I wanted an actual SD card instead of a Micro SD because it seems to come loose in the adapter and that has booted me out of Smash Bros on more than one occasion.

3 ) A Gamecube Memory Card. I only had a 251 card and the silly 50 or so block card that came with Pokemon Box, so it was a nightmare starting new games that took up a lot of blocks.

4 ) The Complete Cowboy Bebop series on DVD. I saw it at Walmart of all places. They must have recently re-licensed it.

5 ) The complete Gakuen Alice anime on DVD. Apparently the anime has been dubbed, but this one only comes subbed. Fine by me.

6 ) A new battery for my laptop. Mine was so dead that it couldn't hold even an instant of charge. I hate when the power flickers for just a brief second and my computer shuts down. Not a problem now.

7 ) Books 2 and 3 of Legend of Korra. As mentioned above I received the first one last year. The 4th comes out in March I believe, so I intend to get it when the time comes.

8 ) $20 in E-Shop money on my 2DS. Two things I need that for, the Pokemon Bank subscription, and the Mewtwo DLC for Smash Bros. I've got $29 in there so I might be able to buy something else, but I don't wanna take a chance yet.

It's less than two hours before Christmas is officially done for the year here in Australia so... Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm very happy with all the gifts I recieved.

1. A cheap tablet to replace my broken laptop. I can do all my work, watch anime and play the Love Live mobile game on it without much trouble so I'd say I got more than my money's worth.

2. A 2DS with Pokemon Y. The game is a bit too easy but still very fun. I'm a much bigger fan of the console itself than I thought I'd be.

3. AKB0048 Next Stage on DVD. All the other anime I'd bought was stuff that I'd already seen so I wanted something new to watch. A little annoyed that the awful English dub is the default audio option but it's not that big a deal.

4. South Park Stick of Truth from my older brother. I have kind of a love hate relationship with the show's crude sense of humour (I outright hated the movie) but the game is hilarious.

5. A Limited Edition Attack on Titan Blu-ray collection (The 2nd half to be exact). I mostly bought it because it was rare and cheap but just hearing the voice actors talking about how much they love the series on the commentary tracks makes me want to go back and watch the whole series dubbed.

6. And finally, my favourite gift out of all of them (And the only one even vaguely magical girl related), the 25th Anniversary Edition of Kiki's Delivery Service. Has the movie on DVD and Blu-ray, a really nice art book, some neat little post cards and a collector's coin all inside one big sturdy box. I love it

I don't have pics but I got a really nice ring, a set of Deadpool plus, eyeball plugs, so really nice wood guages, they are really cute. I got booty shorts with "oorah" on the butt, (my dad is a marine) a tshir with the old Nintendo game one it that says blow me, nightmare before Christmas pj pants, joker socks and nightmare before Christmas jack hat that the wings flap on. 


I'll post pics later but yeah it was nice. The best gift was being able to spend 3 days with my family!

I got a Wagner heat gun, some leather stamps and a Lodge cast iron griddle. 

On a less fun note I got sick too. Bummer.XP

Yea, I really like the 2DS. After losing at least two DS Lite systems to hinge related problems I really appreciate the design of the 2DS. Only downside is the mono sound.

So Christmas time has come again and with it, another chance to order stuff online. I ended up getting.

1 ) The Smash Bros Yoshi and Mewtwo Amiibo.

2 ) Tomee brand SNES controller for the PC.

3 ) A new PC mouse since mine is causing me problems.

4 ) Book 4 of Legend of Korra on DVD (the series has been collected over 3 Christmases, and is now complete)

5 ) Season one of Home Improvement on DVD (A new Holiday collecting tradition)

6 ) New Super Mario Bros 2 for 3DS.

7 ) A Japanese imported copy of the Otogi Jushi Akazukin DS game.

8 ) This precious baby that I have no place to display.

9 ) $20 in my 2DS that was supposed to go to Smash Bros DLC but all of the DLC I care about is already done I'll have to find something for that.

All in all a good Christmas.

A Wii U with Xenoblade Chronicles X and Rayman Legends (I also picked up Mass Effect 3 on the side since it was cheap)

Assassin's Creed Syndicate (Surprisingly quite fun. Much better than the last game)

And a gift card which I may or may not use to by Splatoon.


At least that's everything noteworthy. Most of what else I got was food, clothes, books about rock music (Which I accepted graciously even though I haven't been interested in that stuff for years) and a few embarrassing 'Dad gifts' that I don't even feel like bringing up.
