| It's no secret that one of the things people remember most about this series is that our heroine doesn't transform into a costume, but has many of them personally made by her creepy best friend who likes to film her... then watch the tapes in private... over and over again. And now we're here to gush about our favorites among Sakura's many outfits. First and foremost we have this frilly little number. Oddly enough I don't think this outfit is ever even used in the show. It tends to appear almost entirely in promotional material like the opening theme and DVD covers. Somehow that makes it seem special, but it would have been nice to see in the show itself. This fluffy thing is another personal favorite of mine. Pure adorable. I especially like the big fluffy ribbon in the front. Yea this one's not sexy at all. Dat belleh. This outfit emerged when Sakura needed to sneak into the museum and ran into that little trap... and also the ordeal involving the Silent Card. One of the most interesting in my opinion is this last one. The Alice In Wonderland inspired costume Sakura wore when she got shrunken in her own house by the Little Card. So appropriate considering the events of that work. |

| My first favorites was for the Create Card episode. It may not be pink, but it's kind of different than from what Tomoyo pulls out. Plus I think she intends to make Sakura as some kind of fantasy hero I guess. Some runner-ups include... I like bunnies and I think this is one of the more simple costumes I have seen in the anime (or the Wikia). And then you have the "rubber" cat dress. Dare I say that the cat ears are made to make Sakura adorable? Tomoyo, you have taste! I know I have more, but man the Wikia covers a whole ton more and with little time to go around... I'll just share this to end my day. |

This outfit was always my favorite. Regarding her outfits... Is it bad that I kind of wish she had a standard outfit like other magical girls? As much as I love Tomoyo, I always found the multiple outfits thing to be a tad on the strange side. And since most people only really remember her most memorable outfits anyway... I don't know. Maybe I really just wish she had a henshin. |

| That's what's so great about her. She isn't your normal magical girl, only being able to use her magic once she's transformed. Her magic is inside her always. She doesn't need a costume to be special. She just is. |

That's true! Cardcaptor Sakura is the most unique MG series I've ever read. I honestly can't think of any series that's like it. |

| Yah, which is why I think so many people love the manga and the anime.
The closest I think we'll ever get to a henshin or a transformation sequence is her key necklace and the little scene you get when she summons it. |

| I like those scenes. Though, admittedly, I haven't watched too much of the anime. I honestly just love flashy henshins... Those were the reason I got into magical girls in the first place. I think the reason I find the multiple outfit thing a little strange is just... Thinking of it more realistically, I wonder exactly when Tomoyo gets the time to make them. (I think it was stated she makes them herself, right?) There are just so many outfits, it seems like making one would take forever. But then, thinking about it more, it makes no less sense then having a magical item that transforms you whenever you say the magic word. It's just one of those funny things that never get explained~ (Unless, of course, it's explained in the anime. Man, I really need to watch the anime sometime.) |

| Well, Tomoyo is rich and they are in elementary school. I think elementary school kids in Japan have a lot more free time, so she has the time and the means to be able to make the outfit. Plush I think she also wants to be a fashion designer, so it wouldn't be unusual for anyone in her house to see her making them. |
