So now that the new series is over, what did everyone think of it? 

I thought it was pretty nice, but I don't think the battles/captures were as good as in the original. I am hopeful for a S2 as well, but I think I might catch up on the manga in the meantime.

I still need to watch the last episode, but I can still give my final thoughts. Overall I enjoyed it, but there some things I didn't like. Like you said the captures were better in the original. I wish some of the battles had more to them. I don't like Ahiko. I just find her boring. She really adds nothing to the series in my opinion. Then the card plot. I kind of wish we got something else besides capturing cards. Honestly I would have been happy if the series was slice of life about Sakura and Syaoran growing closer. lol

I was definitely hoping for more of Sakura and Syaoran's relationship too. I'm not really sure what to think of Ahiko personally, she hasn't done much of anything bar being mysterious.

I just want to see Sakura and Syaoran kiss! We got a ton of hugging action. We need some kissing action!
