| MAL Page Seriously, just look at this cutie pie! After watching this bizarre crossover special starring this girl, Creamy Mami and two other of Studio Pierrot's Magical Girls, I was driven to seek out this precious little cupcake and watch the show she's from. According to youtube, she was adopted by a Japanese couple and lived in Africa most of her life, living among animals and wearing only a leopard skin. They fly her to Japan and she has to adjust to her new life. Sadly, the only group that ever started subbing this show stopped like... halfway through. The episodes that are subbed are on youtube. The only thing that bugs me about this show is when the characters open their mouths, they have K-On teeth. That little row there that looks like a single buck tooth sticking out the middle of their mouths. It's weird. |

| I love Pelsia, she's too cute, even when she's being annoying XD (It's that poofy blue 80's hair)
I like that this show tries to be a little bit more like Minky Momo than Creamy Mami. Her voice actress isn't a newbie idol like her Pierrot MG sisters, and the show features Pelsia transforming into different kinds of professions (from Cops to Princesses) and her gathering "love energy" to save a dying world.
The show also deals with the duel persona thing a bit deeper than the other MG shows of its time. Pelsia's adult form isn't something just created with magic - she's literally turning into a fairy from "Wonderland" and Persia (from what I've read) struggles with who she is and all of that.
I guess it wasn't very successful though, because the next show goes back to the "Magical Idol formula" with Magical Emi, and Studio Pierrot doesn't seem to be doing anything special for Pelsia's 30th anniversary this year :< |

| Ahaaa I was wondering why where the "Fairy" in the title came from.
I'm on episode 5 so far and this girl is an adorable, hilarious nuisance. She'd either incredibly innocent or dumb as a brick, wildly shooting off a gun while cheering about "pretty fireworks". I was hoping I'd be able to watch until at least episode 20, but none of the episodes past 8 are subbed on youtube. |

| Yeah, Live-Evil subs stopped early on at about 8 before running into copyright trouble (according to their site)
I think all of the RAWs are online still? Shows like Pelsia where there isn't alot of exposition actually kinda helps when watching it raw.
Or we could just learn Italian XD the DVDs in Italy have the original Japanese dialogue with Italian subs. |

| I understand so little of Raws that it wouldn't even be worth it. I'd just be like "Look at the cute characters! I wonder what they're saying."
Japanese is so confusing as it is. So many of their words mean the same thing like "Kami" can mean both "God" and "Hair".
But at least they don't have words like "Read" |

| In other news, the obscurity of Persia allowed me to beat Akinator. She wasn't recorded in there at all. One of his guesses was Creamy Mami though.
Kind of awkward getting the question "Does your character have X Color hair?" when in fact both of those girls change hair color. |

| I just watched the first episode of this because I figured I rarely finish an anime anyway so I might as well. That was absolutely adorable and I loved it! I'm probably not going to watch any more of it, though, because knowing I won't ever be able to finish it if I got hooked is too sad. Ah, well.
And man, what is it with Italy and magical girls?? They get all the cool MG stuff and it makes me mad. |

| Other day I read there were other fansub who made until episode 28, but they stop: " PROJECT IS CLOSED (FOREVER))! Because there's practically no interest from fans. I state it clearly: if you want more oldschool, do something!". You can find the Torrent on nyan, but isn't working anymore u_u That's pretty sad and @magical-pudding, yeah, Italia got almost every single MG show :c other european countries like Spain used to, but they don't broadcast anime anymore T^T |

| I always wondered why Pelsia wasn't more popular, even in Japan, Creamy Mami and Magical Emi are the ones with the most merch (then Pelsia, then Yumi, then Lala)
I mean it seems cute enough, but I guess it just didn't have that hook that people were looking for?
Though, to be honest, Pelsia has more in common with Minky Momo than it does Creamy Mami
also, just for curiousity sake: what do you call her? Persia or Pelsia?
I always use "Pelsia" because a lot of Italian sites use it, and it just feels weird calling her an ancient empire, but maybe that adds to the mysticism of it for some people. There are moments in the show where they spell her name "Pelsia" too (but, they also spell it "Persia") |

That's pretty sad and @magical-pudding, yeah, Italia got almost every single MG show :c other european countries like Spain used to, but they don't broadcast anime anymore T^T It's more like episodes 1-7, episode 8 with "gibbled" subs, whatever that means, and episodes... 14 or so through 28. And the subs on Nya are merely that. The scripts, which can be placed onto the episodes. The problem is, the only torrent with the raws that works is not made to be synced with those subs. It's just a nightmare. And now that AnimeSols is down, which subbed Creamy Mami and like... half of Pastel Yumi, is gone, all hope of this show being subbed is gone. |

There are moments in the show where they spell her name "Pelsia" too (but, they also spell it "Persia") I prefer Persia, mainly because, when characters in the show said it, they pronounced it like that. Plus, when I read the word "Pelsia", my brain pronounces it as "pell-see-a", and I know that's wrong. LOL. Also, while Persia is the name of an ancient empire, the name brings persian cats to my mind, which... Fits somehow, with her fluffy hair and relationship with Simba. |
