It always amuses me when people go gaga over potential panty shots in Sailor Moon. They don't realize what they're really looking at. It's like a gymnastics leotard with a skirt over it, so that which they seek to peek upon is nowhere in sight.

Honestly, I don't think it really matters to pervs exactly what the article of clothing is... It's still the same general area they're seeing, so they're excited either way. Sick

Plus... The 90's anime did have its moments of genuine panty shots... Particularly with Chibiusa.

It's a product of its time, though, really... When I watched the first episode of Creamy Mami, I was shocked by how many times we saw Yuu's panties. And the clip I saw of Minky Momo was like that too. Weird.

Then what about the outfit female gymnasts wear? You know, the leotard without a skirt. Would they really get a kick out of seeing that during her tumbling and stuff? Confused

As for the rest of what you said, it's true that 90s Sailor Moon did have its panty shots. But I found that for virtually all of them, you have to freeze-frame the video at exactly the right place. They seem to all be that short-lived. Nothing like, for example, Agent Aika. I had the unfortunate luck of watching that piece of filth once. It makes 90s Sailor Moon look clean in terms of ecchi content. I swear, its plot was all about getting panty shots and shots of women in just their bra & panty. A ton of extremely gratuitous trash like that. Angry

If they're gross enough to specifically look out for panty shots in a kid's show, they're probably gross enough to do that, too. It's sad, really.

Honestly, I think that the people who look out for panty shots in this all know it's technically a leotard... But since the uniforms look more like dresses, they just treat it like actual panty shots. Actually, they're probably using "panty shot" as a cuter term for "crotch shot". Sick

It's all the same to them.
