| I found this forum through The Galaxy Cauldron where I have the same username.
My name is Amanda, and I am 22 years old. I work at a men's clothing and formal wear store.
I enjoy doing a variety of things including casual gaming, bookbinding, origami, design, drinking tea, and exercise.
I am a huge magical girl fan. I watched Sailor Moon, and Cardcaptor Sakura as a child when they aired on YTV, and Teletoon in Canada. Tokyo Mew Mew I watched on 4kids TV for a short bit, and then found the manga. I just recently fell into Pretty Cure, and enjoy that quite a bit as well. I also enjoyed Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and the spin-off series as well. There are still a lot of series I need to see but I cannot wait to enjoy them. |

And yes, I very much recommend watching Cardcaptor Sakura in its original, fluffy Japanese form. So much valuable content was butchered out of the dub in an attempt to make it a boys show.
The shows I would soonest recommend are definitely Princess Tutu and Ojamajo Doremi, those and CCS are among the best the genre has given me. |

I forgot about Princess Tutu but I have watched it, and loved it. I think Ojamajo Doremi is next. I also need to watch more of Cardcaptor Sakura in Japanese. I do own the comics. :) |
