It's out now and I have many feelings.
The movie is about a young girl named Tsumugi who wants to be a dancer but her legs are paralyzed. She finds herself being sent to a place called the Doll Kingdom, a magical world filled with... well, dolls. In this world she is able to dance as much as she pleases and is filled with happiness... or so it seems.
This girl is FREAKIN' Presh. Much more so than Nico from the Smile movie. She's voiced by Yui Horie so that's kinda par for the course. Hau Hau~
The movie is very much a Megumi focused story as is tradition of Precure Movies, but Hime gets in on some of the fun as well. And Yuko... talks about food again. Can't win 'em all.
It's a remarkably touching story without getting into the details. The action isn't the best Precure offers but that's perfectly fine because I found myself so engrossed in the emotional conflicts and whatnot that I wouldn't have minded if there was NO fighting.
For a moment I forgot that the in-series movies have the miracle lights as well. When they were waving them around I wondered why I wasn't seeing cameos of characters from past seasons.
So yea, I really enjoyed this. I rated it a 10 now but I might bump it down to a 9 when the warm fuzzies stop.
