| Oh yeah. Although, the dub was fairly popular at the time, so they had to make sure they differentiated between the two. I wonder if it'll be any different now that the series doesn't have a child audience. |

| http://www.madman.com.au/catalogue/view/20945/cardcaptor-sakura-the-movie Australian DVD release of the first CCS Movie with both English and Japanese Audio confirmed for June 18th at the price of $29.95. They mention that first pressings will have a special slipcase which has definitely got me curious as to how that will turn out |

| Good news for those of you who tolerate Crunchyroll's obnoxious bombardment of adds, Cardcaptor Sakura is now on it!
They have the subtitled Japanese Audio version, and what I'm guessing is the new dub version that I'm not gonna bother to watch and therefor have no reason to criticize. I'm just happy they put the original up and I can support it in some way.
I want to put my adblock back up so I can watch it unobstructed, but this is kind of a big deal, this show and Crystal. I tried skimming across the video so that the ads will all play at once, then going back to start the episode, but it lags quite a bit after that. |

| I have free Crunchy Roll that I got specifically so I can watch Crystal. Is CCS on that or the paid part? |

| I watched a bit of the dub. At the very least I can say it's competent but at the same time I wouldn't call it 'good'. Although Kero is the only performance I'd say is outright bad. I've already got the subtitled Australian DVDs for the show (Pretty much the best Christmas present ever) but if this leads to more people watching Cardcaptor Sakura then I'm all for it. I can't think of a series I love more than CCS. This is kind of really old news considering I bought it two months ago but going back to the topic of the Australian release of the first Movie I'd just like to share with you the slipcase I was talking about. Like most slipcases it's very flimsy but that CLAMP art is just beautiful. There's one small problem I have with the release though. I mentioned before that it had an English Dub on disc which is definitely good for the novelty. The trailer on Madman's website, the version they screen at conventions and the version you can buy off of Itunes and places like that are all Japanese with English subtitles. Unfortunately, all Madman's releases have English as the default audio track and this one was no exception. It's especially weird because the ending song that plays in the menu is only in the Japanese version. Oh well. I'm used to switching audio tracks when watching pretty much any show dubbed by Sentai Filmworks so I don't have any reason to complain. |

I don't even have an account with Crunchyroll and I can watch stuff on there. It's in 480p but it's still fine aside from the ads. |

| Yay I can watch it now whenever I want! Before I had to hunt it down.
I still kind of want the DVDs.. Is the dub all new or did they use the old English Asian dub? Yes there is dubbing company from Asia that dubs animes in English. I wonder if they still exist. |

The Philippines, yea. The dub is new, and I've heard nothing good about it. But that's just fine because honestly, how could anyone replace this? |

| I'm pretty sure the NIS boxsets are getting the Animax dub. I haven't gotten a chance to check. I sent mine to my parents' house and won't get a chance to go down there until Labor Day (I think...). Should have sent them to my sister's or here, but my parents house is the safest in terms of whether someone will steal something off the porch. |

| I think it's cool that NIS have done this but honestly I couldn't sit through 70 episodes of it.
It wasn't perfect and it certainly isn't as good as the Japanese but I enjoyed the second movie's dub. Wendee Lee's Kero was perfect and I loved how they managed to keep the 'Hoe' in without sounding awkward. I certainly wouldn't mind if they brought Kari Wahlgren in to play Sakura again. |

| The second time I went to watch CCS when I was older, I tried to watch the dub and I couldn't, not after finding out all the things they changed, so I tracked down the Japanese sub version and watch that instead and it made me love CCS even more! |
