Same!!! I'm getting Moon, I already decided!!! I can't wait to find out more about the new games!!

Also, is it just me, or did anyone else cry watching the teaser for the new game. The clips of all the Pokemon games through the years just made me so nostalgic I cried!!

I cried. ;-;

Well not major, but it made me tear up.

I'm getting Sun! I decided to the moment I saw the leak logos. 

The concept art they showed looked beautiful! There will be cars! The bird Pokemon they showed looks super cute. Some people did fan art for it already. They all made it even cuter. I can't wait to see what it actually looks like.

The R/B/Y rereleases came out today! I got Blue on one system, and Yellow on the other. Can't wait to start playing them! I'm just having trouble deciding which one I wanna play first...

And according to people on youtube, the Mew glitch works on the E-shop versions of Pokemon. That's pretty much all I needed to hear to be interested.

Or I would be if I didn't still have my original Blue cartridge. I have Yellow too but the battery is dead.

Plus I have an R4, which I can play any of the old GB/GBC Pokemon games on, with Super Gameboy and Gameboy Color.

On a non-game related note, I saw small plushies of the Eeveelutions at Walmart today. Sylveon in particular was so cute.

I have real no interest in playing the gen 1 games. I would miss the better features from the newer games. Plus I still have my Yellow and the last time I check it still saves! Now if the release Silver I would probably get it. My Silver bit the dust years ago.

I'm the opposite. I've pretty much given up on the newer ones, but I'll still gladly play the classics.

I kinda like Gen 1's lack of things like holding complicated items like choice bands, the lack of stealth rock and annoying abilities like Sturdy. No Garchomp, no alternate forms. There are glitches and broken mechanics up the wazoo, but still a pretty solid set of games.

Haha!! I honestly love the newer games of Pokemon -- X is my all time favorite Pokemon game, even more than the one I started with, Sapphire. That being said, I was hyped as hell for the rereleases! I have cartridges of Blue and Yellow, but they're very old and crash so often I have to save every couple of steps. Also, the only system I have to play them on is my very old GBA -- not an SP! It doesn't have a backlit screen, and I hate playing on it!! So I really wanted a nice backlit version of the game that doesn't crash every few minutes. I honestly feel I'll enjoy it more if I'm playing on a nice system.

I decided, after much debating, that I am going to play Yellow first!! My team is going to be Pikachu, Butterfree, Clefable, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise!! I'm trying to play this the way I play FR/LG -- I haven't made it through Viridian Forest yet, nor have I beaten my rival outside of Viridian, but I already have a level 10 Butterfree from 45 minutes of grinding!! I wonder how I'm going to fare later on when I don't have a Vs. Seeker and Sevii Islands to fall back on.... Haha!

I found out that in Alpha Sapphire, Marill can be found in the grass, and in Hordes, so I thought I'd try to get one.

Oddish is the most common of the three things you find by that method there, so I figured if it got a Shiny Oddish that wouldn't be bad either.

After a few minutes of finding Oddish and Marill hordes, the first horde of Kecleon shows up, with a shiny among them. I'm very meh on Kecleon, but most of all I'm just surprised it's not purple.

And now I take back everything I said about the Masuda Method. This showed up after about three boxes worth of Ledyba, while watching the latest Game Grumps Mario Maker episode.

I've gotten a few shinies through Masuda method, but to be fair, I also have the shiny charm. Most of the shinies I get are unintentional... I only intentionally ever bred one once, and that's because I got insanely lucky.

So apparently Mario Maker Grumps playthrough is good luck, cause halfway into the third episode after deciding to rewatch it from the beginning, this happened.



And female too! Luck like that just doesn't happen to me. I've always wanted a Shiny Bulbasaur out of all of the starters. Not sure why. I think it's cause of how green it is. The bulb is taking over!

Guyyys, check Serebii. New info on Sun and Moon! Starters, game exclusive legendaries, and the name of the region have been announced!

I was planning on getting Moon initially, but now that I've seen the legendaries, I am definitely getting Sun. Is it just me, or does he look a LOT like Kero-chan? And he's the SUN legendary?! This is just too perfect. The magical girl fan in me demands that I get Sun now, and when I catch him, I'm going to name him Keroberos.

I am so hyped! The starters are so cute. I might go with the grass starter. 

I'm getting Sun first. I knew the legendary would be fire related and that's my favorite type. It being a lion makes it even better! Please Gamefreak more fire types. <3

I've seen some images and the character models look better. I hope that means they're going to update the pokemon models too.

The Japanese trailer showed more. At least that's what Reddit users say. I'm at work so I haven't watch any trailers. The Japanese trailer showed character customization and it appeared to be more advance. Someone mention you can take off your hat! I am so happy GF left that in. I was worried it would be a Kalos thing only.
