| Also known as Twin Princesses of the Mysterious Star/Wonder Planet.
The basic premise and setting of this show are really interesting. The entire world of this series exists on the inside of a hollow meteor with the various continents lining the inner walls. In the center of this world is the Sunny Kingdom, which provides the sunlight that keeps the world going.
When that power starts to fade away, our two princesses are charged with the task of traveling the world, helping the many people of their world in order to raise their "princess levels" and become strong enough to restore the blessing of the sun.
This one is an odd duck to label as far as the sub-genres of the Magical Girl genre go. It starts out being very much like a Cute Witch series, where the girls travel around helping others with their problems. Then roughly halfway through the show takes a shift in tone to become a "Save the world from the forces of evil" thing.
If I could describe this show in one word it is this. RIDICULOUS. This show has got to be one of the silliest, most hilariously absurd things ever made for children to watch. The main girls themselves will either be totally lovable or totally annoying, with their quirky dances.
I only watched this show earlier this year and I already miss it. I didn't care for the second half as much as the first, but it was still a fun series that I recommend checking out. |

| Here's the MAL link, for anyone interested! I just discovered this show today! I saw a few gifsets for it on Tumblr and I thought it looked adorable, so I looked it up and watched the first episode. I was not disappointed -- it was very cute, and quite entertaining. I found it interesting how no-nonsense it was with introducing the magical girl elements. Most shows take the entire first episode to set up the premise, but they got their powers before the halfway mark. And the explanation on how to use their powers was entirely cut out! Maybe they will show it in the second episode? I guess I'll just have to watch to find out. Apparently there was a sequel, Fushigiboshi no Futagohime Gyu!, but from the looks of it, it hasn't been subbed. Boo. |

And after such a long time, it's finally happening, courtesy of Honobono. |

| Oh, awesome! I might just have to start watching this again. As is typical for me, I just kind of quit after the first episode… I can never seem to stick with an anime, I'm more of a hit and run type of gal. |
