Does anyone remember this show? I loved it as a kid. I'm happy to see it coming back! Strangely it's coming to Adult Swim. I wonder if it will air on Toonami.

Glad to see it will continue the story and that the creator will be the ex. producer! Thank God it's not a reboot. Good lord we have enough of reboots!

Ooh, Adult Swim? That sounds interesting. I remember that the show was quite dark, so maybe if they're aiming towards adults, they might be able to go more in depth with those types of themes. Hopefully it doesn't turn out like the Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon... Ugh!!!

I remember when Samurai Jack came out, and I was initially very excited to watch it, but it turned out to be a bit too serious for my tastes. LOL. I was more of a Spongebob kind of girl.

I feel like it won't turn into comedy adult humor show. It always had a very serious tone. I bet they're reason for putting it on AS because kids who watched it watch AS now. 

I wonder if they'll get the cast back. They'll have to get a new Aku since Mako passed away. :(

Oh, I didn't mean that I'm scared it would turn into a raunchy comedy. What I meant is that, I'm scared that they're going to take the "for adults" thing too far, and...really take the dark stuff to the EXTREME, at the expense of a good story. In this case, excessive violence and blood, etc. I mean, obviously there's going to be more detailed action scenes, but I would hate to see them take a good show and turn it into a mindless gorefest just because they can.

But honestly, that's probably a silly concern. Samurai Jack always had a good story, so if they're reviving it, they probably have something awesome in mind. I guess I'm just always a little on edge when I hear "adult" cartoon... Some of the stuff that comes out for "adults" in America can be really mindless. There's a reason so many adults here prefer to watch kids' shows.

Oh, I highly doubt they'll take it to the extreme. The creator said he wanted give Jack the proper ending it deserved.
